| A relative newcomer to the Romulan fleet, Starfleet knows little about the Veles Class. Initially believed to be little more than an advanced science ship, further analysis has indicated the Veles class is also capable on the battlefield. Even so, Starfleet believes the vessel's primary purpose is scientific/exploratory, and the tactical systems are present merely for defense. As is common in newer Romulan vessels, the Veles is incredibly fast. It is also equipped with a state-of-the-art cloaking device. |
